I purchased a whirlpool air conditioner on 18/04/2010, the air conditioner was found defective from the date of installation. They tried to repair it for two months but failed at last they wanted to fit some parts which the Engineers of whirlpool purchased from Foot path Market I opposed and turned them back thereafter they became silent. Then I lodged a complaint vide No. K L 0610015048 dated 24/06/2010 over phone No.(033) 60008558 but no action taken I was compelled to contact their Kolkata Head Office: 8, Camac Street, Kolkata over phone No. 2282-1120 but all my efforts were in vain. I went to Consumer Forum court and they issued verdict in my favour.
Never purchase Whirlpool Home Appliances.

second time one person will come my home they telling your MOTOR will be problem you will change the motor.
Then he asking new motor amount RS: 2800. he telling me warranty will be closed.i will better will choose the company whirlpool is the good name & good company. But the name only is good, product is not good & your service also not good. purchase the product 2 years 10 month only the motor will be problem in washing machine & after 2 years refrigerator warranty finishing that also coming problem then will buy the amount from me. what is the product capacity. i will not pay the amount. change the motor under warranty

i have purchased one double door 310 ltr refrigerator from better deals janakpuri on 24.10.10 bill no.888 and today when your engineer has come for demo i found a huge dump on one side of the refrigerator and as per his statement i got the new one from the company within a week , it is not a good sign from a company like yours see the diwali is just on and if i got the refrigerator in week it is of no sense i think it is possible to get a new one from the dealer itself .kindly look into this matter very seiously and get me the new one in a day or two. looking forward for your reply. my mobile no is 09810450937

Dear Sir,
I do have Whirlpool make refrigerator and washing machine. In August-2010 my refrigerator was not working so I complained at your call center. After 4 to 5 days your junior mechanic came to my home and told me that back side cable was damaged by rat bite so he told that he would sent a senior person to solve my problem. After 4 days your senior mechanic came and repaired my refrigerator. When we contact call center they assure us that our problem would be solved in 24 hours. But we are sorry to say that they are taking 8-9 or more days to solve the problem.
In beginning of November-2010 while we switching off refrigerator and switching it on after some time it was not starting immediately, surprisingly only after 6 to 8 hours it was starting. On 7th November-2010 my refrigerator was not starting so I complained vide above mentioned complaint number on 9th November-2010. On 11th November-2010 your mechanic came to my home and told us that circuit of our refrigerator is damaged and I can change it tomorrow but he did not come. On 13th November-2010 other mechanic came to my home and changed the circuit box but refrigerator could not working he told me that the reason of not working was the damage of cable also and also that they need to take our refrigerator at your workshop and I will have to pay Rs. 800/- for it and he also informed that it would take 4 to 5 days to repair the refrigerator. When we asked for so much time to repair the refrigerator he told me that they are having lack of staff. In August 2010 your senior mechanic solved my problem through jointing cables which were cut by rate bite and my refrigerator was working properly but this time your Junior mechanic do not handle with care that cable and it got damaged. On 17th November-2010 festival of Eidul Adha is coming and we are in very much need of the refrigerator. Why we should wait for 10 to 15 days because of your short staff and why should we pay for the mistakes of your junior mechanic?
In next year I am thinking to buy new refrigerator and I also agree with the quality of your product but regretfully I would like to say you that I am thinking to buy other brand refrigerator for your poor after sales service I would also refer to my friend circle not to buy product of such a brand having very poor after sale service.

i have purchased a whirlpool home ups dated 04/02/10 from a kolkata based shop and my experience with the company is such bad that i will never suggest anybody to purchase any kind of product from this brand “WHIRLPOOL” .there is no single person in this company to listen for customer solution. if someone can help kindly call at

i m veri sorry to say that ur compani is loosing reputation in market due to the poor quality and worst services provided by ur dealers. i hv a whirlpool double door refrigators which was gifted to me by my kids on mothers day in 2008….but i thnk that was the worse day of my life when i got this gift, i disposed off my of my old fridge & from that may 2008 i m facing the problems in every five or six months it stops cooling due to many reasons which are not told by ur technicians, now again it stopped working from 26 jan. In ur service centre in Meerut no body picks up the phone, and inspite of many physical complaint no body turns on. i am now totally disappointd and i want either the company should replace my fridge or i have to knock the door of consumer forum for the worst quality of ur products and poor service now u hv to make the decision coz i m not going to continue with the same refrigatore and i want reply from ur side within two days or c what is going to happen after that
