Unable to get Icici Bank credit card
-Got a bank account with Icici Bank which has handsome balance.
-Got ITR or salary proof of last 3 years.
-Got previous loan Noc certificate.
Still you can’t get a credit card from them because currently bank is not issuing any credit card.
Why? because the past customers are defaulting a lot to whom credit card was issued even when above 3 conditions were not met.
That was the booming time and Icici Bank didn’t realized that even then … only worthy customers should be given credit (card). Now in the recession time Icici Bank still hasn’t realized that you can’t deprive worthy customers from a credit (card) else they may look elsewhere and you’ll lose customer all together.
Instead they have stopped issuing credit card completely.

Senior citizen are not issued a credit card due to old age and their creditworthiness is not taken into consideration. This is not bank policy but that of the card originating organisations.
