what is the transaction code of pnb
I tried to make payment in the advised manner from my ICICI Bank Account but it didn’t work. I have made two efforts but in vain. Firstly I tried :
Payee’s name : Punjab National Bank
I. Name of Destination Bank: Punjab national bank
II. IFSC Code: PUNBO112000
III. Name of Destination Branch: 26-A, K.G. Marg
IV. Type of Destination Account: Current Account
V. Number of Destination Account: My 16 Digit Credit Card Number
VI. Transaction Code: It didn’t ask for any transaction code.
RESULT : Transaction declined and money returned to my account next day.
In second attempt :
Payee’s name : My name (as printed on my credit card)
I. Name of Destination Bank: Punjab national bank
II. IFSC Code: PUNBO112000
III. Name of Destination Branch: 26-A, K.G. Marg
IV. Type of Destination Account: Current Account
V. Number of Destination Account: My 16 Digit Credit Card Number
VI. Transaction Code: It didn’t ask for any transaction code.
RESULT : Transaction declined and money returned to my account same day.
I’d also faced same problem as Ravi, moreover I tried other branches but in vain
please use PUNB0112000 as the IFSC code… the IFSC code written in the site is PUNBO112000. The difference is a it is a ZERO and not O after PUNB.
