The Haryana Tourism, in collaboration with Haryana Travel Mart, is organizing the first Gurgaon Shopping Festival from February 24 to March 14, 2010. The objective of the festival is to promote Gurgaon as one of the world’s most modern and progressive townships and India’s foremost shopping destination.

The festival will introduce the best shopping deals from a wide range of brands. It will showcase handloom and handicrafts of Haryana and promote cuisines from around the world. This will be a prelude to the shopping festival to be held during the Commonwealth Games 2010. “It will start on February 24 with a grand ceremony,” Rajendra Kataria, deputy commissioner of Gurgaon said.
