    REPLACEMENT BATTERY FOR MARUTI SWIFT ZXI (PETROL)

    I WOULD BE GRATEFUL TO KNOW THE CORRECT REPLACEMENT BATTERY FOR MY 5-YEARS OLD SWIFT ZXI (PETROL). ITS ORIGINAL BATTERY WORKED WELL FOR ALL THESE 5 YEARS. MY REGULAR SERVICE CENTRE IS INDUS MOTORS, MG ROAD, KOCHI-682015, WHERE BATTERIES ARE NOT AVAILABLE PRESENTLY.

    ORIGINALLY FITTED , AMARON BATTERY IS HARD TO GET IN KOCHI & MY EFFORTS TO CONTACT THEIR (AMARON) LOCAL HEAD HONCHO TO LEARN ABOUT RETAIL OUTLETS WERE UNPRODUCTIVE.

    THE CLOSEST RETAIL OUTLET SELLS AMCO/PRESTOLITE BATTERIES. KINDLY ADVISE WHETHER AMCO/PRESTOLITE WILL BE GOOD REPLACEMENT.

    I have booked Maruti Swift VXI on 30th June, have deposited 4.25 till date and am still waiting to get the possession of the vehicle, the dealer with whom i have booked is Pagariya Auto, Aurangabad, Maharashtra and the staff and the Manager are unable to provide any information with regard to delivery of vehicle. They have kept on prolonging the matter and giving vague commitments after commitments. Lastly they have told that the vehicle is in dispatch on 14th of September and will come in 8 days, today they are telling that no body alongwith the manager are aware of the status and cannot say when we will get the vehicle. REquested to look into and do the needful.

    will be made at the time of sales are bull shit and also this is the company where will give all kind of bad
    services in all the aspects. Let me tell you all about my story
    I booked Suzuki Swift VXI last week of June and deposited 30K, at Saketh motors Titpur, Tumkur District Karnataka. now it is already more than 3 months but as you people comitted vehicle is not yet delivered and
    still your all telling next 15 days. If you people will not deliver on time then why is that promisses and comittment
    made to the customers and if we require a car(other than Maruthi) we will get it with in a month so better others should not do this kind of mistakes again. If realy any one is there to take care of this resposibility then pls
    get the work done asap, else we promiss that we will not keep relationship with your company.

    Dear Sir,
    I am leading Civil & Structural Engineer having a office at Nizamabad. I have booked the Maruthi BSIV Swift ABS for which I have given a cheque of Rs.50,000/- in the name of M/s. Varun Motors, Nizamabad. However, I am told to furnish a letter and visit the show room for endorsement of the cheque physically. It is nothing but insulting the reputed prospective customer. As such I am urgently in need of the vehicle and the vehicle was not at all booked even after 1 week of presentation of cheque.

    I have taken back the cheque.

    Therefore I request the authoriities concerned not to insult the customer. Don’t forget that the Customer is most
    important person. Unnecessary 1 week of time is elapsed without any booking of the vehicule and further it has increased the time period of delivery of the vehicle.. Take a appropriate action against the dealer for wasting of golden time of 1 week and do the justice to the customer.

    Dear Concerned,

    I am very much disappointed with the solution i am getting every time when i go to any Maruti Suzuki Service Station. I am owning SWIFT Vxi and fighting from the day of purchase for its alignment issue. It use to get pulled to left side due to which my TYRE got totally Damaged only of that side. I am complaining regarding same since 1st service (2.5 years back).

    We (entire family) have been very fond of MARUTI Since 1992, when we purchased our first maruti 800. But this inconvenience has forced us to move to other Brands. We am extremely sorry to say that MARUTI is getting out of our 1st Preferences.

    2.DZIRE LDI- (INSURANCE : 3711, SALES PERSON: MUDIT RAJ, CHASIS :301734)
    Both the above vehicles are taken delivery by me on 4.10.2010.
    Hopeless service by Rohan, Greater Noida. I feel that the dealer is taking the advantage of Maruti Suziki brand name and established car market to tout the customers at his premisis.
    There is no proper response at the show room and no body attended on us inspite of the fact I was the only person in the show room at the time I went for taking the delivery of above 2 vehicles. It took Rohan people 4 hours to deliver the vehicles to me.
    Customer lounge is not having the basic amenities like sitting, fan and drinking water.
    Where can I send the scan copies of Feed back questionnaire if i want to make Maruti Suiki aware of the actual facts in detail. Please revert back

    KVR Maruthi in Manjeri Malappuram District, Kerala has the worst service.

    They had taken the vehicle for servicing and didn’t do anything systematically and gave the vehicle just as it was.

    Should we depend on unbranded servicing centers so that we get proper service?

    Is there anything that you people can do with regard to the service part?

    Pls contact immediately if U wish to answer us seriously.

    I had given my car for servicing yesterday at hubli. They hav robbed my indicator light & god’s idol which is placed at the front.
    Last time they had robbed my pen drive 4gb.
    Service provided here is worst.
    Giving complaint for the second time.
    Check customer history, always complaints are same but not yet fulfilled.
    Pls get back my valuable robbed things before i tak serious action.

    I booked a star AT silky silver at competent gajipur in sep 2010 but they are saying that there will be no car a stsr at will be delivered in oct 2010 there is no a star at available in maruty udyog in oct month
    I am facing lot of problems to purchage a star AT from last three months same experience I had with rohan motors in noida and moto craft ghaziabad.

    my wagon R no. DL3CS 9477 given for service to SAYA automobiles Ltd 68/3 Hari Ngr near Ashram chaok New Delhi on dt 06-10-2010 job card no JC10000928 I paid Rs 1889.00 for this . Next day again due to problem of vehicle They charge to me Rs 4309.00 vide job card no JC10000939 Dt. 07-10-2010 but still the vehicle is not in running condition. In the next working day I again go to SAYA automobile they told me again estimate about 5000

    SAYA automobiles is authorised service centre of MARUTI They are cheating me. Service provided here is worst.
    I am not satisfied.
    I request to MARUTI to check my vehicle from properlly qualiffied service eng. & please save me from cheating by SAYA automobiles

    I had given my Maruti Suzuki Zen Estilo for some minor repair on 25-aug-2010 at Asia’s biggest service center for maruti suzuki in naraina new delhi. When i gave my car for the repair they had given me the estimate of Rs.20000/ but afer some days the amount move upto 40000/ it was really shocking for me when i asked them why are they taking that huge amount from me for the minor repair they told me that the whole engine fo your car will be overhauled as well as the head had to be also changed first of all how could it be possible that the engine had to be overhauled when the car is just 3yrs old and just 25000kms had been run and also the average running of my car is just 20kms a day but as i am facing so much of problem without my car i agree to pay the same and i again visit the service center to collect my car as (the time given by the engineer) they told that the break pedal will also be changed worth Rs4500/ as well as i will get my car in the month of November as there deputy manager(Mr gupta) is on leave if these all things had to be changed in just 3yrs just the body is left i am very harrased by the service as well as whenever i had call ar visit the staff had also misbehaved with me. So, I want that some serious action had to be taken on this. Details of my car are mentioned below:

    In continuation of my letters under reference, the vehicle handed over to Rohan Motors, Noida on 03/09/2010 was given back to me on 07/10/2010, after a period of 34 days.

    This time the repair work was done under the guidance and instructions of Gagan Eash, Senior Service Engineer of Maruti Suzuki Ltd. But the 34 days repair work by senior service engineer proved futile. The Vehicle stopped again three times while going to office on 12/10/2010. The vehicle again was sent to Rohan Motors, Noida 10th time the same day. The vehicle also stopped in the trial runs by the service engineers.

    When during the period of 34 days the fault of the vehicle could not be rectified by a senior service engineer of the company’ the fault is intricate and irreparable. Hence the vehicle should be replaced immediately. The needful should be done at the earliest otherwise I am left with no option other than to take the issue to a consumer court.

    Hope the needful will be done at the earliest.

    I HAVE PURCHASE A SWIFT VDI CAR, AND IT HAD BEEN MET AN ACCIDENT NEXT DAY AND OUR SAMBALPUR DEALER HAD TAKEN THE ACCIDENT CAR UNDER THEIR OBSERVATION AND THEIR RULES AND POLICIES. ACCORDING TO THEIR KNOWLEDGE, RULES AND POLICIES THEY HAD ANSWERED THAT YOUR CAR CANNOT BE REPAIRED BECAUSE IT HAS CROSSED THAT POSITION OF REPAIRING. AND ACCORDING TO THEIR POLICY WE WILL GET A FULL NEW SWIFT CAR BODY’S SOON.

    BUT TO GIVE CAR BODY THEY ARE NOT READY AND NOT AT ALL GIVING INTEREST TOWARDS IT.     I had booked a Astar(AT) on 26 september from Apra auto(gurgaon), I was given an approx waiting time of 2-3 weeks depending. On 20th Oct, i was confirmed that delivery will be made by october end, now dealer is saying that waiting for Astar has increased to approx 2-3 months and they cannot confirm anything. This only puts a question mark on the maruti’s credibility. With such low level of commitments to prospective customers. I seriously believe Maruti regional sales office are simply fooling people in collaboration with the dealers.

    Four months ago I purchase a A-Star vxi from BEEKAY AUTO -Berham pur,murshidabad ,west bengal.A problem occures in my car(Malfuntioning indicator lightned always&Spedometer do not working).I took my car for repairing the same at BEEKAY AUTU SERVICING CENTRE ,Berhampur, BAKULTALA ,murshidabad ,w b on24.10.2010,they said me to you can drive after checking.But after 80 km driving same problem shows on my car.To day they suggest me to go to a nearest M SUZUKI SERVICING CENTRE&I do the same.Nearest Mserv cent suri(authorised),birbhum,w b,technician says SPEDOMETER SENSOR damaged can replace immediately.WHAT CAN I DO! Iam now 110km from berhampur&150km from burdwan. I am at BK TPP T/S of birbhum.

    I booked a Swift Lxi on 15 th September from APRA MOTORS, GURGAON and was confirmed a booking time of 30 days. I was expected to get the delivery by 20 October, but unfortunately not. Even after calling dealer so many times i do not have any confirmation on my booking made. This is a question mark on MARUTI’s credibility to deliver good to customer on the grounds promised. Shame on them!!

    three months back i purchased new Maruti Waganor from Simran motors pvt ltd. Alibaug and a month before i came across the fault in the power window of the car . In order to get it fit when i approached the service center the proper attention was not given by the staff . I visited the service center 6 times but they ignored the complaint and kept on delaying by saying that the parts are unavailable.

    I took my Alto LXi to Bimal Auto Workshop at Bamunimaidan, Guwahati on 30.10.10. with the complain of noise in the front suspension. This is the second time since I had to visit the workshop with the same complain. On both the occasion the brakes had been checked and necessary parts have been replaced. But the compalin could not be resolved. My Car has just done 26500 kms since 9th April 2007 (date of purchase). I called up the customer service helpdesk on 01.11.10 with the complains and and requested them to pick up my car from my workplace and they have assured me to send their representative accordingly on 02.11.10. But my question is will i be charged again for replacement of spares and labour as i have already spent twice for the same job which did not solve my problem …..??

    I have purchased wagnr lx from Sky Auto Mobiles,Bhanapur,Cuttack on dtd.05.08.2009. I have completed my 3rd free servicing with stipulated time specified by Maruti Udyog Ltd through Sky Auto mobiles. But my complain was mileage not given as per your booklet. At the time of 3rd servicing the incharge of servicing centre assurred me now your car will provide you 18-20kmper litre.But after checking I informed to Mr.Patnaik(Service Manager of Sky Auto Mobiles) for such low mileage problem. He told me to come to our service station & we will check the mileage by help of our mileage testing machine. I have gone there on dt.01.11.2010 & he directed mechanic to fitted the mileage testing machine.While mechanic has fitted the machine the total petrol was leak inside my car.The service manager says our testing machine is not working,so you come another day we can test on tank ful basis.
    I have already lodged the complain earlier regarding low mileage. You are therefore kindly give them instruction to check my car throughly by deputed your engineer.

    That Sir, one important point is that one A-Star(VXI) (Helen Green ) which was booked on 09/10/2010 is already been received on 04/11/2010 from M/S Bharati Motors, Bongaigaon, Assam. Then why my car is not received till date. Give any reply in my given mobile number.

    I have given my Maruti Swift Diesel, for servicing on 29-10-2010 to MyCar Pune. The service advisor is Pramod More. I was promised delivery on 30/10/10. I have STILL NOT recieved my vehicle. The staff at MyCar says, they are short of spares as they need to replace the clutchplate/pressure plate etc. It is unbelievable that , i have to wait for 11ndays for a spare part replacement . Your service advisors do not have the manners to speak, the shop manager is also as useless as anything else. What shud i di and howmuch more time shud i wait??????
    Moreover this problem has escalated after your man came and repaired my vehicle at my residence on 21/10 as there wasc a breakdown. He charged me Rs 350 for that, and the problem still persists!!!!!! You need to attend to the issue soon as this is not expected from a company like Maruti.A reply in any form from you will be appreciated.

    We are the distributors – shop to shop delivery- of electrical items. On 27.8.2010 we purchased one Omni LPG CARGO BS III from from M/S.Popular Vehicles and services, Vyttila branch. We got a very good service from the dealer till the delivery of the vehicle.But after delivery the service was not up to our expectation.

    The very next day of delivery of the vehicle the van stuck down while running. We sent the vehicle to the service center. They informed us the defects can be identified by scanning and requested for 10 days time to get the scanner. After a week time we were told that the scanner is ready and we sent the vehicle. After scanning they identified that some parts to be changed after receipt new parts from Maruti. After a10 days , parts received and service center repaired the vehicle. But again the problem persisted. Vehicle as earlier stuck down seven to eight times while running. After stoppage the vehicle can bestarted after 5 to 10 minutes , but again it will stuck down. While running again the vehicle stuck down. The service center arranged a carrier to bring the vehicle from road to the service center and they charged us Rs.1350/- One entire night the vehicle was repaired and we paid Rs.500/ for fuel. But the defects could not be cleared.The service center advised to get the vehicle repaired at their branch office at Elamakkara in Ernakulam Dist. We feel that the technicians cant identify the defects as the same is , we feel, serious.
    Ours is a new business unit and we purchased the vehicle by availing bank finance. We have to incur heavy loss on purchasing this vehicle from M/S.Popular Vehicles and services, Vyttila
    Please arrange to deliver a new vehicle in place of the above defective van

    I took my swift LXi to competent motors, ghazipur on 12.10.10. with the complain of noise in the suspension. This is the 5th time since I had to visit the workshop with the same complain. On both the occasion the brakes had been checked and necessary parts have been replaced. But the compalin could not be resolved. My Car has just done 50200 kms since 28th MAY 2008 (date of purchase). I called up the customer service helpdesk on 12.11.10 with the complains at gurgaon and and requested them to rectify the problem and they have assured me to send their representative accordingly on 14.11.10. But my problem is still i have already spent so many time for the same job which did not solve my problem …..??

Since the date of purchase it creats starting problem, On 1st service they replace some parts and after that there was no problem.Last night the Vehicle does not start & Today I informed the service station Berkeley Automobiles & they sends two times their engineers but could not start it & told me to see it tomorrow.     They have not confirmed the exact time of delivery of vehicle. So how long should i wait as i have made follow up almost twice in week. I am not getting desired answer from the relevent person. May i know reply for delivery date only?

    At the outset let me introduce myself as Dileep Kumar (Plus Two Lecturer, KKMHSS Vandithavalam, Palakkad, Kerala) from Kollengode, Palakkad District, Kerala.

    I am an ardent fan of Maruti make and for the same reason , while I had decided to go for a brand new car, nothing was in mind except Maruti. So I went ahead and purchased a Maruti WagonR LXI model in the year 2008 used it for a couple of years. The performance of the vehicle was excellent and I loved each and every journey with my WagonR.

    Since I was looking for a bigger version vehicle (you would appreciate the needs are growing and the interest for better vehicles too), again nothing was in mind other than Maruti. I had to take a decision between Swift DZire and SX4 finally decided to go with Swift DZire.

    The story followed after this decision is really a sad one I would not have gone for a bigger version if I knew beforehand about this.

    I had gone to your authorized dealer (SAI SERVICE STATION LTD.) on 01/07/2010 and requested for a quotation for Swift DZire. I was informed by the dealer that I need to wait 4 ½ long months to get the delivery of the vehicle. By hearing this, my better half insisted me to go for some other brand. My love and admiration towards Maruti didn’t allow me to think about any other brand. I was successful in convincing my better half about Swift DZire and Maruti brand. Since we were using WagonR she also understood the Maruti reputation. Finally I had decided to go for the Swift DZire. I had got a quotation form the dealer (A copy enclosed) and I booked the vehicle by paying an advance of Rs 50000/-
    The quotation given by the dealer mentioned that it is valid for a period of 4 ½ months.

    The months elapsed fast and I was informed by the dealer about the readiness of the vehicle for the delivery, one of the gladdest news of the year as far as I am concerned. When I was handed over the invoice (a copy attached) for making the balance payment, I was surprised to note that the invoice amount was more by Rs.10158/- compared to the quotation given the dealer. When I asked them to explain the difference, no body could explain it. They were giving some vague explanations such as “this is premium vehicle and the rates will not remain the same. Maruti has increased the rate etc…” Honestly I could not neither digest not accept the fact.

    Since I was in very much need of a vehicle I took the delivery of the vehicle by paying the extra amount of Rs 10158/- more than the quotation. Obviously this increase has reflected in the Road Tax (an increase of Rs. 603/-) and Insurance (an increase of Rs.232/-) amounts. So a total increase of Rs.10993/- in the payment.
    In the quotation it has been mentioned that an interest of 3.75% p.a. will be paid for the booking amount and that will be adjusted in the invoice, but that was not done.

    I am writing this letter to you to bring to your attention the agony suffered by me for the 4 months and the time of taking the delivery of the vehicle.

    I may request your attention to the following points and a reply from your end is highly appreciated

    1) What is the role of a quotation in the process of the booking of the vehicle?
    2) If the quotation is valid for 4 months and can the quoted amount can be changed as per the whims and fancies of the dealer
    3) Has Maruti increased the price of Swift DZire during the period 01/07/2010 to 07/11/2010?
    4) As a loyal customer of Maruti, is it not our right to get an intimation of change in the price once we had booked for the vehicle?
    5) If the Maruti has not increased the price of the vehicle, does the dealer has the power to increase the price of the vehicle which is already booked based on the quotation?
    6) If the dealer does have the power to alter the price after the quotation is issued and booking is accepted, then what is the sanctity for the quotation?
    7) If the dealer does not have the power to increase the price, then why the price was increased by a whopping Rs.10158/- at the time of delivery?
    8) Aren’t we entitled for a clear explanation from the dealer for the same?

    There are quite other behavioral aspects of the dealer which I don’t want to mention in this letter as it would become too long.

    I request your kind attention to the above referred matter. If you feel that I was aggrieved for increase in the price of vehicle, you may direct the dealer to repay the amount to me at the earliest. If you feel that the treatment given to me during the period was as per the Maruti standard, then I need to decide whether to go for Maruti in future.

    After 3rd Service my car started giving me trouble like low pickup and low mileage I took my car to M/s Competent Automobiles many times but they are neither able to understand the problem or they are any more interested to resolve the issues regarding low pickup and low mileages raised by me. Service advisers/Technical advisors are more interested to do add-on work in which they get money (commission) rather than making a car to smooth run. SA(s) at competent automobiles are always request to get work done without getting entry into job card and pay outside. After 4th service the condition of my car has gone very worst. In 4th service except washing they have not done anything in the car they even not checked/ wheel balancing/ alignment for which they have charged. I was running my car with great difficulties and one day I found tyres is getting cut I took immediately to competent automobile and again explain them problem without even inspection they have declared car suspension ok and later on they have changed rear left shock absorber and again was force to run, after 4th service my has run only 2000 Km and I took it to more than 11 times to service station once they declared that my clutch need to be overhaul many times I made compliant to Maruti bearing following numbers:-

    (a) 1567931464 dated 08 Oct 2010,
    (b) 9400793703 dated 11 Nov 2010.
    (c) 601497177 dated 18 Nov 2010.

    With hard request/force and giving some reference of higher authority they have done the following work in my car after 4th service which supposed to be checked in 4th service:-

    (a) Tappets Adjustment
    (b) Rear shock observer replacement

    But my low pickup and engine sound is still not rectified.

    Work done after 4th service is (along with whole car history) enclosed at attachment to this mail. Once they have declared clutch faulty and when I went to get it replace they themselves declared clutch OK (please refer Job Card No. JC10026037) It is not understood why they are harassing me for not paying outside settlement as desired by their service advisor.

    Even once they have suggested me to sell off my car and purchase another brand car stating that Maruti is not suitable for me.

    I request you to kindly look into matter and I request that 4th service to be done once again with all check points which are needs to be checked during 4th service and my car may get repaired at any Maruti Service Station (other than Competent Automobile at the cost of Competent Automobile) and it may please be assured that no one customer like me be harassed as I was treated at Competent Automobiles)

    I request you to kindly take up my case at utmost priority and guilty person (company) who have closed my above mentioned complaints even without my feedback/visit to service station may be penalise.

    I am a lawyer by profession and practising in the High Court at Jabalpur. Few months back I have purchased two cars i.e. Maruti Ritz and Maruti SX-4. As regards SX-4 is concerned, there was noiise somewhere near the stearing side. Atleast on five occassion the vehicle was sent for repairing but with no result. Last time it was sent for repairing in the last week. After the repairing the condition has become further worst. I still cooperated and asked them to replace the defective part. I was not given any satisfactory reply. I am told that for changing the part permission is required from the Higher Authorities. How I am concerned with it. The vehicle is lying as it is in my garrage. It is really unfortunate. I even to triedcontact Shri Pankaj Narula Executive officer (service) at Gurgaon but again I could not get proper response from the operator. As a las resort I am giving this complaint or else I shall have no other option but to approach the Consumer Forum for replacement of the vehicle and also claiming compensation for the harassment . it is really a very sorry state of affairs. Please immediately look into the grievance.

    Self and my colleague Mr.Murugan booked ALTO Festiva on 01.12.2010 through Popular Vehicles And Services LTD – Pallikaranai – Velachery road.and planning to take the delivery by first week of January- 2010.

    I was already in a plan to buy Alto but my colleague he was interested with Swift VDI. Knowing his usage I advised him to go with Alto. He too got convinced and agrees to bye.

    Our concern is having the brand name ( Maruthi Suzuki – Alto –Festiva- VXI)stickered it in the rear side of the car instead of having it in metal (Stainless steel)which is not attractive and over a period of time it will worn off.

    We kindly request you to change it. Hope at least the next buyer would feel happy.

    REG : Removal of replaced battery and fixing a standby battery etc

    I had purchased Maruthi Wagon R on 13.06.2008 from one of your authorised dealers M/s Indus Motors Katupakkam.

    During March 2009 the battery in the car was not functioning properly and as a result I had starting trouble daily in the morning. Hence I had approached your authorised dealer M/s Indus Motors Katupakkam from whom I had taken delivery of the car to look into the battery problem.

    To my utter dismay, the technical people in your authorised centre at M/s Indus Motors were not in a position to solve the battery problem and the starting trouble in the car could not be solved.

    I had taken back the car from M/s Indus Motors with the existing battery defect and the car was continuously giving trouble and I could not use the car regularly. After a weeks time I once again gave a complaint to M/s Indus Motors and they had a sent a service engineer to my residence to solve the battery problem. The said service engineer had come with a standby battery and replaced it. This standby battery also did not work properly and the vehicle started giving starting trouble.

    I was struggling with this problem and could not use my car. By this time the second service was due and I had taken the car to M/s ABT Maruti who told me that the battery problem was due to lack of jelly in the battery and the added some jelly to the battery and charged me Rs 45 even during the Free Service Period.

    Despite adding jelly to the battery the same battery problem continued and I was not able to use the car. Since the battery problem could not be solved I was forced to take up this issue with your offices concerned in Mumbai and Chennai wherein I had requested to take a strong and stringent action against your authorised dealer M/s Indus Motors Katupakkam for not attending to the battery problem.

    After a long struggle the battery was replaced and the car was running smoothly. During June 2009 my car was hit by van which was carrying iron rods and the front glass and the bonnet was damaged. I had to approach my insurer for the claim and my car was replaced with a new glass and a new bonnet by M/s Indus Motors Katupakkam.

    The said replaced glass was not affixed properly and water started seeping inside the car whenever it had rained or it was being washed. Due to this problem the car was once again sent to your authorised dealer M/s Indus Motors who removed the water from inside the car and said that the seepage of water was only due to the car window and not front glass.

    On 06.06.2010 I had to take my car for yet another problem wherein on applying brake the car would switch off and then start after a minute. For rectifying this problem I had to pay a sum Of Rs 4,732/- vide your Invoice No Br 100001719 dt 08.06.2010 to M/s Indus Motors Katupakkam. While taking delivery of the car I had once again pointed out to your dealer that water was seeping inside whenever it had rained for which your technician told the KOWL Box was rusted and hence water was seeping inside. They also told me that to check this problem it will take a minimum of one week.

    Since M/s Indus Motors was not willing to attend to this problem I had taken the car to your another dealer M/s Maurthi Service Master at Guindy. The said service centre on attending to the problem gave a service report stating that the seepage of water was due to the defective front glass only.

    Based on this report I approached M/s Indus Motors Katupakkam to rectify this problem as they had originally changed the front glass.

    After a period of 8 days the front glass was refixed. But to my shock I found out that they have replaced the existing battery with a standby battery without any reason and also there is heavy engine noise while starting the vehicle. In fact this battery was changed by them after a long struggle I had with your company vide my mail dt 12.03.2009.

    I cannot understand as to why the running battery was changed and that too without informing me. It looks on reality that a good working battery was intentionally replaced with a fraudulent motive to settle some scores with me as I had repeatedly complained against M/s Indus Motors Katupakkam on earlier occasions.

    I am writing this letter to bring to your notice that the dealers of reputed company like M/s Maruthi are indulging in such fraudulent activities and are more bothered about sales and not service after sales.

    In the circumstances I will be forced to take legal action against your authorised dealer if the following issues are not attended to immediately :

    1) Provide a new battery instead of the standby battery

    2) To rectify the engine noise on starting the vehicle.

    3) To restore normal audio and video settings
    ( Video settings have been changed by the dealer resulting in the images being shown upside down).

    I once again stress the fact that the service of your authorised dealer M/s Indus Motors Katupakkam is highly questionable and leaves a lot to be desired.

    Failure to attend to my above mentioned problem will force me to contemplate legal action against your company for deficiency in service.

    Expecting justice from your side without any inordinate delay.

    I had given my car for service(4th service , 40000 Km) at Maruti’s Authorized Service Station in Cochin, Kerala Ms. Sai Service station
    I got shock of my life when i received the bills. Charges were extremely high. I have changed the engine oil earlier (20000 km) at one of your another service center at Kerala, Ms. AVG motors Kottayam and they have charged only Rs.674(RS.217/LITx3 LIT)… The cochin service station charged Rs.3565 !!!…Its pure cheating
    I am a loyal nd long standing maruthi customer and this time I felt like totally cheated

    Pls intervene and do the needful…I expect your revert immediately …else I will be forced to complaint to consumer protection form

    Rohan motors Ltd. (G.M.S. Road) Dehradun. They have agreed to deliver my car on
    08/12/2010 as per their job card. Before the delivery date i myself enquired
    about the status of my car, they told that request is sent for unavailable parts
    and my car would be ready on time and i also request to deliver my car on time
    as i have many urgent work and would be using my car. But all things are of no
    use, today i.e. 13/12/2010 when i myself enquired they told that still my car is
    not ready and they need 4 more days for repairing.
    Is this the kind of service Maruti Suzuki is giving to its customer??????
    What is the use of claiming that we are no 1 in customer service????
    Who will going to bear the loss which i have encured for the delay from their
    side.
    It is very sad to say that this kind of service is not the ethics of Maruti
    Suzuki…….
    It is requested to concern to give clarification why my car is not ready on time
    and also after one week of delay and i have also registered my complaint with
    consumer forum and lastly i want the compensation of Rs 5000 for every day delay
    from 08/12/2010.

    I, am resident of Nangal TownShip, Distt. Ropar, Punjab. Yesterday, i visited your one of the service certre i.e. CM AUTOS, at Nangal. I wanted to book a swift Vdi with ABS . At the same time at wanted to have one additional feature in the Swift Vdi, which was not there bye-default. i.e. rear defog mirror in this specific car. I, was ready to pay for the special feature. But the concerned officials at Nangal showed their inability for the incorporation of special feacher in the car. Even i, Suggested them to conform my suggestions for the top officials. But they ignored my view.

    As no other option was with me, i preffered to book my car yesterday i.e 15-12-2010 which would be punched on next day. Still I, am willing to install that special feature in my car. kindly inform me whether it is possible or not . If it is possible, then how much amount it will cost to me. including the procedure for that. Kindly inform me as earily as possible.

    My name is Nikitha. Recently we met with an accident when we were travelling back from Hyd to Bangalore and our car was damaged badly. We were in no position to bring it to Bangalore. So we towed the car to a Maruthi showroom at Ananthapur, AP which was close to the place where the accident happened. When we went there after few days the manager there was in a hurry to send us away even before the insurance guy came down to estimate the loss. Since my dad and me have limited knowledge about the car and its details, we left the showroom with their assurance that everything will be taken care of. My dad had been calling them every single day to follow up and check the status. Even after 30 days the car was not fixed. When my dad said that he would complain they called us the same day to come and pick up the car.
    We went to the showroom and realized that a car which was few months old has been reduced to scrap. They had only replaced the parts for which they will be paid. It was as if they had left the car in the junk yard for ages, full of dust. All the accessories tampered. They dint even have the nuts and bolts fixed. The so called manager – CHANDRASHEKAR assured us that servicing has been done while the basic nuts and bolts were not fixed and the car not washed.
    When the manager realized that we had come to the showroom (all the way from Bangalore) he went out for lunch from 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm. Not a single manager was around to even answer any of our questions. Even on the final day the insurance guy dint turn up and they ended up billing us for 18,000/-. No clue what they have replaced and what they have not. They have not even taken it for a test drive after the servicing, but the manager assured that everything has been fixed.
    Mid way the car broke down. Imagine in the night we were stuck on the highway. Somehow a good Samaritan helped us fix it and we reached Bangalore by midnight. The next day when I called him to inform about this all he has to say is that I don’t know why the car broke down.
    We had to spend another 1000/- to get the car running. I am really very disappointed with the way they treated us. Had they told us about their incapability we would have taken it elsewhere.

    I am surprised that Maruthi can have someone of this quality to be their dealers? I want to complain and make sure some action is taken against this showroom. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    I have booked Maruti Swift Dzire LDI on Dec’10,Only after getting confirm promise of delivering the vehicle Mr. Nataraj sales manager on 20th Jan’11 for my Marriage , the dealer with whom i have booked is Kalyani motors mysore road, Bangalore,Karnataka.Now i am really disappointed for not getting a car delivered on the date which the person promised me and am still awaiting to get the possession of the vehicle,the staff and the Manager are unable to provide any information with regard to delivery of vehicle.I should call them all the time for the status of the vehicle which makes me feel they have taken the booking by giving wrong commitment, They have kept on prolonging the matter and giving vague commitments after promise. Lastly they have told that they have sent the mail to MARUTI for the required vehicle Swift Dzire LDI, there is no reponse from maruti,now they are telling the vehicle is in dispatch on 15th of January and will come in month end,they are telling that and cannot say when we will get the vehicle.

    I purchased Alto K10 Lxi on 11.1.11 at 6.30 with Kms 31 on 13.1.11 i went with my new car to pick my child from school. In front of the school My vehicle’s clutch failed at Kms 51.After consulting the customer care at least 5 times the service vehicle came after 2 hours of long wait on road at 2pm to 4pm. Embrassing Situation. The service van guy told that the vehicle to be shifted to service point by crane & you have to pay 800 Rs for that. Intialy i reached the service point.
    Then the service station guy informed that there is no warranty claim for clutch & you have to pay 4100 for the same. Is this Maruti Quality & customer care.The vehicle fails after 20 Kms running? What quality Maruti is maintaining? I need an explanation from authorities from Maruti Suzuki.This is very serious Failure Need to be investigated.

    Sir, i Shashikant Bhadale with very good expectations with maruti group had purchased an Swift VDI model for better performance in my daily routine however i have been fooled by my dealer ( Sai Service kondhwa ) in pune who has given me a model which is being giving me bad exhaustion throughout leading to bad reputation of the company and me as well !!!

    I Have already given my car 3 times for servicing at your authorized service station but they have treated me as am no body and no customer should be treated in such manner but i still persisted with the brand and stuck to the same dealer but the treatment which i got was not worth resulting in me to SALE my car at LOSS to somebody apart from Maruti group resulting in loss of company reputation and my word which could have given the organization a living in my community which owns 9 maruti cars but your dealer does not care so what am i suppose to do ???

    Hi sir.. I have taken your ALTO in last august 2010. In 2011feb 1st with 6000km running with starting problem, I given to 2nd service. They said delivery will be 2nd feb with bill 2500. Rs. In 2nd they came up with 8000 Rs saying that there is some big problem in ur car and deliVery of ur car will be after ur payment. 3 rd feb evening they said problem in hole in exhaust manifold have to change whole assembly it will cost around 14000 Rs. In 1 st service they taken out our gas service because mileage problem. Now its running only in petrol. From my place to service centre is almost 3hrs. I have wasted my time and there is no communication from service centre we are calling every day to know what is happening… up to now we didnt get our car its in service centre. Here for same where is waranty period? Why no respone from service centre? I took the car into the near by dealer but the service they are providing is satisfactory but the price they are charging is not at all worthy which is not in accordance with the Maruti Suzuki price as i have heard before.As we all know Maruti is a lower maintenance car but it totally disheartened me after knowing the rate.

    Sub:- Hira Automobiles (Patiala) Played a fraud with me
    Sir,
    I had bought Zen estilo model vxi on 12/05/2008 from your authorized dealer M/s. Hira Automobiles ltd Patiala for Rs.375114.00.The Payment was made by me vide Cheque No:790537 dated 12/05/2008 of amount of Rs.375114.00.At the time of delivery of the aforesaid vehicle made to me ,I was told by the dealer ,executive that the model being handed over to me is of 2008.This fact had been accordingly declared and mentioned on the RC of this vehicle.(copy of RC enclosed)
    That Now I wanted to sell it off in order to buy some new car with new model and variety.The prospective buyer opened the bonnet of my Zen estilo car and found that it is December 2006 model and not 2008 model car as told and sold to me by the Hira Automobiles,Patiala.
    That It is a sheer fraud played upon me by the Hira Automobiles and its executive .The Value is being assessed as per 2006 model for Rs.1,75000/- whereas the 2008 model carries a value Of Rs.3,20000/-.This amount to a monetary loss of Rs. 1,45000/- as well as harassment ,mental agony loss of Rs, 3,00000/- to me .The Total Loss to me of Amount of Rs. 4,45000/-.As a result of declaring frudentily wrong model of this vehicle as being 2008 where as its actual model in 2008 was 2006.
    While the Hira Automobiles limited ,Patiala have issued the form no:-21 and 22, and mentioned month and manufacture Feb,2008.while the above said vehicle is model December 2006. (Form NO 21 and 22 enclosed )
    That I request you to compensate to me the great loss due to fraudulently telling me that it is 2008 vehicle whereas it was actually 2006 model at the time of selling to me If I do not get due justice in the form of compensation to me either by you or by the Hira Automobiles limited ,Patiala .Then I shall be forced to take a recourse to consumer court and lodged the FIR against the Executive as well as Hira Automobiles Limited ,Patiala U/s 420 IPC I am enclosing all documents Kindly take an necessary action against Executive as well as Hira Automobiles Limited Patiala .I will send the all documents by post later on .

    I am Sumeet Mahajan. I had an accident with my maruti alto on 6th March,2011.

    Same day i left my car in Competent Automobiles. The person who checked my car was Devender dubey.

    Today(12th March) i picked my car. At that time i have complain that my antenna was changed to older one. When i told the supervisor , instead of believing me he(Devender Dubey,very hard to find him,he keeps on disappearing in between) told me that ” i didnt check at the time of taking this car so i cant say anything”. So whose fault is this.

    Also the handle of the right side back window which i think they are supposed to change as there in the bill is also older one. It has scratches and impact of accident on it.

    The antenna fell on my way back to my place.

    Also the left side of my car has more scratches than before. i told the supervisor about that then also he started convincing me that those were there as written in my job card.

    If i have one-two scratches on one side then that doesnot give you any right to make more scratches.

    I left completely unsatisfied mainly by the behaviour of Devender Dubey on whose cap it is written “care for customers”.
