Job Description
Specific Skill Sets Required
- Knowledge of accounting and corporate finance concepts
- Knowledge of valuation software like Argus and Dyna will be a plus
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to effectively communicate with associates and managers in the US
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel and MS Word
Job Purpose:
~ Assisting Real Estate professionals in the Deloitte US Firms in providing lease advisory services, securitization services and market research services to clients
~ Assisting in preparing financial schedules
~ Also assisting in the quality review of deliverables produced by associate analysts
Key Job Responsibilities:
~ Understanding the scope of engagements
~ Reading, identifying and analyzing critical clauses in a lease that affect financial decisions, and abstracting these using appropriate software
~ Conducting preliminary lease audits and reverse audits
~ Providing lease administration services
~ Reviewing rent roll schedules for multi-family properties
~ Preparing loan abstracts and asset summaries for securitization due diligence
~ Appraisal reviews
~ Sourcing real estate market data for markets within and outside the US
~ Comparables search using Co Star and Loop net
~ Market research and leasehold valuation by analyzing market rents
Desired Profile
Qualifications:
- B.Tech or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required, MBA and/or Chartered Accountants/CPAs preferred.
- 1 – 2 years of relevant/professional services experience required; 1-2 years of real estate-related professional experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of commercial real estate (i.e. familiarity with leases, financial statements, and Argus) a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English required.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software required.
