I am using a mmx 200g modem. It’s speed is very low for somebody because you dont have EDGE facility in your locality. when EDGE facility comes your speed will dramatically increase. Like imran d(responder) said use some download manager like IDM(Internet download manager), fdm(free download manager),Flashget,etc. I think idm and all is better than dap(download accelerator plus). Otherwise you can use other networks like aircel,do como,etc. Find which one have EDGE facility in your locality.

hi, I have just brought mmx200g in the hope that i will get nice surfing and downloading speed but this modem gives a speed of 5kb/s at most.so i strongly feel one should not buy such fake products.This modem is low graded product having very low spd. DONT BUY IT OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE IN LOSS.

This is very slowest data card with speed of 0 kbps to 2 kbps. So can’t buy it, you will lose your money which is very important for you!
The Device Micromax 200G USB Modem have a fixed Speed its the rate of speed in normal phones better to buy a 3G sim with Phones giveing up to 3mbps speed or 3G Micromax usb modem .i suggest to use BSNL 3G CONNECTON on micromax usb modem . must us any sim according to connection in these usb modems .

it is really worthless. it doesn’t support chatting properly,get disconnected often.neither this device supports TATA Docomo. It also is not at all a high speed device. I have been cheated by purchasing so called high speed data card. The company should stop writing high speed in there agenda.

Micromax 200G is a useless modem. If you hav purchased this from Airtel then you cannot use any other sim in it as it is configred for that purticular airtel sim only even if the specification of the said data card says its “independent network”. but it will not work..
So the better idea is to get a mobile phone which can be used as modem and can connect to the interenet if you are having data plans activated.
for eg: you can use your mobile with airtel 98/-p.m plan for (2GBdata free for one month) to connect to the internet (both in PC and mobile) at a speed of 115.16kbps min. and 460.8kbps max.
