Rick (Owen Wilson) and Fred (Jason Sudiekis) show signs of boredom and restlessness at home. Quite understandable considering the ups and downs family life can bring along. But, their wives think of revitalizing their lives by granting them a HALL PASS. Its a complete week of freedom, without being answerable.

What seems like a dream come true, becomes a life without meaning. They feel their life is out of sync with reality. They come to terms with the fact that being single is not what makes their life complete.
