In an epic encounter Germany beat England 4-1 to reach the quarter final. England had no answer to the formidable German attack. The England defence was first breached in 19th min by one of their senior players Klose to which none of the england players had any answers. In the 31st min England defence was once more exposed to the determined Germans who played to their potential or lets just say Germany was a far better a side than England and it was more o less decided who will be the victors.

Their was some respite for the English football team in the 36th min when Matthew Upson scored a goal and kept the match alive. Many believed that the match had ended before the half time but that group did not include the English. The England’s coach certainly had a lot to figure for the second half.

As the second half started with England a goal behind there was still something to look for the English fans. Neverthless Germany had come with a purpose to defeat a side. In the 66th min Germany’s Thomas Muller scored arother blinder in to the goalpost thwarting any hopes of English side coming back. 3 mins later Muller again admonished the English attack humiliating the English team. There have been many teams but only a few would lose in such a disgusting and hopeless manner. The germans were ecstatic, their fans proud and happy to yet another world cup win.
