BSNL launched 24 Mbps broadband in India with VDSL technology.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), a state-owned telecommunication company in India and India’s oldest and largest Communication Service Provider today announced the launch of 24 MBPS broadband plan. Earlier MTNL has launched up to 20Mbps plan and now by announcing 24Mbps plan, BSNL is the fastest broadband connection provider in India till date.

With Digital Subscriber Loop (VDSL) Technology (VDSL or VHDSL, Very High Bitrate DSL is a DSL technology providing faster data transmission over a single flat untwisted or twisted pair of copper wires.) BSNL announce two high speed broadband pans, up to 16Mbps at the rate of Rs. 4,999 a month and Rs 9,999 a month for speeds of up to 24 Mbps.

BUT, there are some limitations in both plans, if your home or business is located in 1KM radius of BSNL exchange, there you are able to get 16 Mbps plan and of you are in 500 meters radius then only you are eligible to get 24Mbps plan. So if you are planning to get one of the plans, think about shifting you business near BSNL exchange or wait for BSNL exchange built near your business.
