Bsnl is offering unlimited gprs on its 2G network. All you need is to recharge Rs.274 STV on your Bsnl Excel Prepaid Mobile Sim. However do note that these price are not valid while roaming as you will have to pay standard roaming data charges in circle other than your home.

mene kal huawei ki e173 stick purchase ki lekin kal mene jb usme 1st time bsnl ka card dala to uski speed2.60mbps thi lekin uske bad me ne jb b suru ki to uski speed 10-11 kbps ki hi aa rhi he…!!

for increasing the net speed one should have IDM software
yeah idm can increase speed to some level but idm is only a dwnloader.it mainly depends on your internet service provider n your data usage plan…

@vikas u may be using 32kb 2g sim.
get a new 128kb 3g sim and recharge it with 2g data plans(any one)
download speed upto 350kbps
@vikas ….. listen man i think u r using the modem in ur desktop. net speed in desktop is much less than what you get in a laptop. apart from that i think you should perform your disk defragmentation on a regular basis and i would like to give you another advice that you download the software CCleaner to keep ur pc clean i think this should help you out and what saket told is also right…..

go to network setting and select UMTS network type in nokia 3 g phone and search network it show u 3g network if bsnl 3g in available in your area then select 3 G network now u got 3 G downloading speed

if u r using MMX datacard, just select HSPA/UTMS from your Network Selection mode. Then your Network will be of 3g and not of 2g from your 2g sim. Enjoy High speed of 2.1Mbps.

micromax modem me 2g sim se 3g speed nhi mil rhi but mere pas isurf ka modem hai jisme bsnl 3g sim pe maine 2g recharge kiya (3gb for 98) to 3g speed se chal rha..150-200KBps…i m njoing it……..atfirst wen u asked to bsnl technicians if its possible..they said dont recharge 3g sim with 2g plans..it may create problem…..but i m not facing any such problems…

acctually i recharged 270 tommorow. and i got speed of 200- 400 kbps. but when i downloaded about 250 mb then speeed gone to 20-30 kbps till now. aisa pehle bhi hota raha hai
i called on bsnl they said network problem hai.

hii guys today i just went to the bsnl office and asked them why they have withrawn unlimited plans and the officer told me that it is because of the private companies and he also told me that not to worry unlimited plant will be back within 2-3 months
yaar mere paas sony xperia x8 mobile hai or me reliance 2g data plan 3g network par use kar raha hu lekin meri speed 5kbps to 7kbps max 8kbps hi aa rahi hai koi solution do yaar kya karu or mera network bhi full aa raha he
abhi 3 din pehle me 300 kbps ki speed se downloading kar raha tha but aab speed 20 kbps aa raahi hai ?? why aisa kyon hota hai. pehle bhi hota tha aur jab ek mahine baad recharge karatee hain to wapis se speed fast ho jati hai.

hai vikas your friend is using 3g service on 2g sim but you can also increase your speed firstly go to network mode then select hspa now you have increased your speed

I am using BSNL sim but internet is not running on my laptop. I can access it on mobile. Uptil May 2011 I was satisfactorily using BSNL 2g and 3g sims at 3g speed both, but suddenly I am getting an error of “the PPP link control was terminated”. I have tried dialling numbers, *99#, *99***1#, *99***# and probably all the combinations of these. I have used many handsets, and I have tried this on a few other sims also, but the problems remains. I live in Nagpur. I am in great trouble. Somebody please help, because I want to use BSNL plans only.

NO there is no plan for rs 274 and unlimited. it is only 270 without unlimited (10 GB)

i recharged with 270 rs today + 30 Rs balance. when i began to start download i had seen that the speed was 200 kbps. and i finished about 1 gb download then speed automatilcly gone down to 20 kbps why ?
